I reluctantly go back to RadioDJ, since it has the best combination of features and ease of use for me. The CPU usage goes to a more-reasonable level if you minimize the window, however, but that is certainly a handicap. which is puzzling, because the only things active are a progress bar and a couple of countdown timers.

I run my station unattended, so I cannot trust software that just randomly kicks out.Īnother issue I noticed is that PlayIt Live uses an excessive amount of CPU power for its main operating screen. I restarted it manually, and after another hour or so, it stopped again. After a couple of hours, PlayIt Live stopped segueing. I setup a playout pattern and a clock in PlayIt Live and scheduled it for a 24 hour off-air test. I have a dedicated computer with very low latency and a minimum of running processes just for automation use, and it has run other software very well. I really liked the simplicity of the UI and the ease of setup and file import, but it seems to have a few issues yet. Now I just have to go and get all my music back into Radiodj and get it organized again, but it's all worth it. I tested it and heard my voice and the music!!! I am now using BUTT, right now with the B2 as my output to the server.

Now when I did this i forgotten about the MySql server you have to setup, so i went ahead and started the new mysql install and setup, which had to be updated because they did an update ( I'm hoping that wasn't the problem all along), I then created a new database setup in Radiodj and then set it all up again. Maybe the old encoder files left from A******t were causing conflicts. So I moved the output to B2 and tried and it didn't work, then I thought about something. And, by the way, thanks for all your help and that goes for everyone. Neutral, thanks for the heads up about the USB 3D sound unit, looks interesting and might be something i would use in the future. Now if just could figure out why BUTT doesn't give me the option of VOICEMEETER B1 under Audio settings, like your Neutral.įilip, the only reason i was trying my old soundcard, was thinking maybe BUTT would find it under Audio settings, since it doesn't find my on-board sound. But when I tried a couple other emualtors, they pick up everything Radiodj and mic. So why is this? The only Voicemeeter option it offers me is the VoiceMeeter Aux Output, is this the one I need?Īll this works fine, it's just that signal for some reason only gets the Radiodj stuff and not my microphone when using A******t. Here is the thing, BUTT does not offer me the choice of VoiceMeeter B! in my list under Audio settings like i said before.

Everything can be done with a good soundcard, cheap midi controller or macro (AHK or similar software), Microphone and of course a PC with voicemeter Banana. Use chanels on the Banana mixer as u want. So BUTT only needs the voicemeter output ("master output") for stream and all sound goes through Banana. You only need it to get your voice in the machine. Why do you need a soundcard again? In theory you don't need a souncard to stream music. BUTT is supposed to stream the output from voicemeter (virtual).
